Amorgos: Mourou Amorgos

Mourou Beach Amorgos: Mourou is a pebbled beach located 15km southeast of Chora. Its characteristic is the rare turquoise water. This rather small beach is partly rocky and partly sandy. Behind the rocks, there are two small caves that you can swim and snorkel.

The beach is not organized with umbrellas and sun beds but there is a tavern just above the sea for cold drinks and snacks. It is easily accessed by car or motorbike that will take you only up to a point, near the cafeteria and then you have to follow a 10-minute walk path to reach the beach. The beach is found near the villages of Arkesini and Kamari.
