Kalotaritissa Beach Amorgos: Kalotaritissa beach is a fairly long beach located in the southern portion of Amorgos Island. Kalotaritissa is a typical ‘shingle and sand’ beach with plenty of shade.

Kalotaritissa beach is reachable by car. Tourist amenities are not many except a lone beach café. While in Kalotaritissa one can catch a glimpse of numerous fishing boats. The sea is sparkling and clear.

While in Kalotaritissa beach one can take a boat ride to the nearby island of Gramvousa, which has a nice beach, too, although tourist amenities are lacking here. So, it is advisable to carry ones own necessities while in Kalotaritissa so that lack of facilities does not hamper the traveling spirit.
