Rethymno Tourism

Rethymno is, without doubt, the most picturesque town in Crete characterized by the beautiful Venetian town which overflows with traditional stone houses, quiet streets for walking and the authentic Cretan atmosphere which is recognized by the music and food. Tourism in Rethymno is not restricted at the main town, but many other wonderful places are to be discovered in the region during your Crete vacation.

Rethymno tourism is quite developed, but not as developed as Chania and Heraklion. There is a tourist office in Rethymno Town, located right outside the port close to the other travel agencies. People can gather a piece of information on the island and their trip. There is no tourist police though but tourists can address at the main police station for any problem that might occur during their stay.
