Rethymno Town beach: The beach of the town of Rethymno is an endless sandy beach of more than 20 kilometres long. It is often crowded, because it is in the town, and fully-organised, offering plenty of facilities to visitors including lively beach bars.
Weather flags are informing the swimmers about the safety of the beach: if the weather is windy it can be quite dangerous.
West of the town of Rethymno visitors will also find Episkopi, a partly organised large and sandy beach with clean waters. |
