Rethymno Reviews -Villages Agia Galini

It was quite difficult to reach this village, because we arrived in Heraklion airport, rented a car from there and drove to the south of Crete, where Agia Galini is. However, we lost our way many times for lack of signs. If you try the same way, make sure you have a map with you. The village itself was fine, a busy tourist resort. It reminded of a picturesque village only a little. I particularly liked the square with the tall palm tree and some rocky beaches we found in the area. Note that car is essential to visit the area because the public transportation is too poor.
