Rethymno Airport

There is no airport in Rethymno. Visitors to Crete island are served by other airports of Crete island: Chania airport and Heraklion airport, that receive domestic flights from Athens and Thessaloniki and also charter flights in summer.

Transports from/to the airport

Transport from the airports of Chania and Heraklion to Rethymno can be done by bus or taxi. The drive between Rethymno and both Chania or Heraklion is about 1 hour. Buses are daily and frequent.
