Lassithi is the most quiet and relaxing area of Crete. While the rest of the perfectures are too crowded for me, Lassithi has exactly those features to make my holidays special. I have been there two times for holidays and still find new things to do. This summer we stayed in a villa in Elounda and went to Spinalonga, a small islet that used to be a prison and a leprosy area. We also went to the Gorge of the Dead but I got tired from hiking. I love Lassithi so much that maybe we will buy a summer house there. Wouldn't it be nice?
