Crete Kato Zakros Lassithi: A large and relaxing beach, Kato Zakros is located about 106 km east of Agios Nikolaos, on the eastern side of Lassithi. It is a lovely bay surrounded by short vegetation and wild cliffsides.

This beach is located at a distance of 8 km from Zakros, one of the prettiest villages in Lassithi. In a small distance, there is also the archaeological site of Zakros, one of the most important Minoan palaces in Crete.

The beach of Kato Zakros is not organized with sunbeds an umbrellas, so it provides a wonderful place to relax. Some accommodation is found in the villages around the beach.
