General information

Harakas Heraklion: Harakas is a beautiful mountainous village located at a distance of 45 km south of Heraklion Town. The authentic village built on top of a hill offers a gorgeous view to the valley beneath the small stone houses and red-tiled roofs.

Harakas is totally untouched by tourism and most inhabitants are engaged in agriculture. The surrounding mountainsides are great for trekking and many small villages are found in close distance.
