Heraklion: Komos Heraklion

Crete Komos Heraklion: Komos is a relaxing, undeveloped beach nestled in the south west coast of Heraklion. It is a fine stretch of sand lined, not very crowded because it is not organized. The seashore though is ideal for sunbathing and the waters are clean and shallow.

Komos beach is surrounded by high rocks and some greenery. The view is excellent especially from the top of the rocks, with the peninsula stretching into the sea on the sides and the black rock of Volakas.
