The Philozoic Association of Chania "The Small Noah's Ark" faces a great problem with the stray and wounded animals that are found in the neighbourhoods of the town and the closeby villages. As they stress out, now that the tourist season has ended and the hotels have closed, stray animals, which would find a temporary refugee and some food from these visitors, are left again alone on the streets. The greatest problem of the association is that they don't have a place to take care and host the animals. Their communication with the municipality is still fruitless. That is why they ask those who have a dog house they don't need to donate it to the association. Moreover, if you want to adopt a stray animal, do not hesitate to contact them (28210 55030 and 6946 881155).
