Chania: Sfakia Chania

Sfakia Chania: This is the capital of the wild and unspoiled region of Skafia, one of the most mountainous area in Crete. It is situated around the White Mountains range, which are very high and possess numerous impressive and beautiful gorges, the most famous ones being the Samaria Gorges.

Hora Sfakion (Sfakia) is situated 70 kilometres from Chania, on the south-western coast of Crete, and it constitutes an excellent starting point for the exploration of the southern coast of Crete.
