Bungee Jumping in Chania: The prefecture of Chania, Crete, is today the most exciting bungee site in Greece. Although till 2004 the bridge of Halkida town, about 100 km to the north of Athens, was the most popular place to do some bungee jumping, today it has been substituted by the bridge of Aradaina, about 65 km to the south west of Chania, close to the village of Sfakia.

sport. Moreover, with a height of 138 m, it is the highest bridge in Greece and the second highest bridge for bungee jumping in Europe. A sports club organizes and conducts bungee jumping there. Jumps usually start from early June till the end of August and they are held every weekend, from midday to dawn. Pieces of equipment are provided by the club and bookings can be done from before.
