Pahia Ammos in Paleochora Chania Crete: The wonderful beach of Pahia Ammos is located on the southern coast of Crete, a few kilometres away from Paleohora. It is one of the most beautiful sandy beaches of Crete and has been awarded for the cleanliness of its waters by the EU Blue Flag.

Since the beach is sometimes affected by strong winds and the water is deep, lifeguards are available on the coast to protect swimmers.
