 After Santorini Grace was awarded in the World Travel Awards 2009 as "Greece's Leading Boutique Hotel", now the Athenaeum InterContinental Hotel in Athens has been awarded as "Greece's Leading Business Hotel".
Every year since 1993, World Travel Awards collect and award the best hotels in every category. This year, the contest had the biggest participation number, out of all these 16 years, with 170,000 participants from more than 200 countries. It is also worth to mention that the Athenaeum InterContinental Hotel has been awarded at the same travel contest in the past for the years 2005, 2006 and 2007.
"All these honourable awards, over these years, constitute for us the best reward of our efforts and at the same time the prime power to keep the high standards of services and accommodation in this comfortable and luxury ambience", says the Leader Manager of InterContinental, Panos Panagiotopoulos.
