The president of the Greek Radiophone and Television (ERT), Mr Christos Panagopoulos, announced the creation of a new museum. This museum will be housed in an ERT-owned area of 37 sq.m. in Liosia district, to the west of Athens, and will include valuable archive of the Greek Public Television. After the successful exhibition of ERT held in Zappeion Megaron, Athens, two months ago, which was visited by 120,000 people, the administrative board of ERT decided to build this museum in order for the young people to know the long and important work of the public television company. It is estimated that the museum will be ready in two years and its cost will be about 4 million euros.
