The prefecture of Athens-Piraeus announced yesterday its plan to create a park of 650 sq.m. in the premises of the Attica Park, in Galatsi neighbourhood, Athens. According to this plan, more than 2,500 trees, bushes and flowers will be planted, so a botanical garden will be created. The Athenians and visitors will be able to have a walk around the garden and get to know the plants of Athens from close. Moreover, playgrounds will be created for the children and the open theatre that already exists will be reformed.
