The 3rd Festival for the Greek Olive and Olive Oil will be held on April 10-12 in the Peace and Friendship Stadium, Athens. The aim of this festival is to promote the high-quality olive of Greece and to bring producers and consumers in contact. This festival will also emerge new ways of olive marking and will present the importance of this product for a healthy life.
In a parallel level, special recipes from Mediterranean countries and from all Greece with olive oil as base will be presented and olive coctails will be made. It is worth mentioning that Greece is famous for its high-quality olive oil, which is considered as the best in the world. Most famous olive oil producing areas in Greece are Crete and Peloponnese.
