 Thousands of residents and visitors are expected to take part in the Bicycle Tour of Athens which will be held on Sunday, October 12th. The Bicycle Tour was first organized in 1987 and since then it has become a tradition for the city of Athens. The participants will start from Kallimarmaro Stadium while Syntagma Square is the beginning point for people with special needs. The aim of the Tour is to promote bicycle as a means of transport in the polluted cities of the modern world and to prove that exercise is essential for our health.
To subscribe, you can contact the cultural centres of the Municipality of Athens or at Kallimarmaro Stadium at 9 a.m. on Sunday. The 18th Bicycle Tour of Athens is organized by the Municipality of Athens in collaboration with Becel company.
