 A Documentary Festival with the city of Athens as its theme starts today and will last for the next three days, till Ocober 12th. The Documentary is organized by the Cultural Center of the Municipality of Athens and the films will be showed in the Amphitheatre Antonis Tritsis, Acadimias st, 50, in the centre of Athens.
The directors present the city of Athens through their own eyes and discover the daily life in various neighbourhoods such as Gazi, Omonoia, Metaxourgio and Tourkovounia. They compare life in Athens today and some decades ago and give their own experience of the city. Documentaries of new and older filmmakers are presented, including Thodoris Adamopoulos, Dimitris Kollatos, Giannis Skopteas and Dimitris Stavrakas.
