 From 5-13 September 2008 the Theater Vrachon “Melina Merkouri”, Athens, will host the 22nd Ymettos Festival and it will get filled by the sounds of a new music experience out of the ordinary: the 1st ECM Festival is here!
New musical ways, inspired musicians in unique presentations: Improvisations of chamber music from the Mediterranean frame the thematic core of the 22nd Ymettos Festival in the most creative way.
From the Tunisian Anouar Brahem (Friday 5/9) to the aberrational Italian duet of Gianluigi Trovesi & Gianni Coscia (Saturday 6/9) they will make us part of their own traditions.
12 top musicians, sound designers, composers, producers, filmmakers from Greece, France, Italy, Poland, will present their amazing art to the Greek public and anyone willing to enjoy this experience.
