Located right opposite the holy rock of the Acropolis, the museum hosts about 4,000 exhibits. These items were found in excavations on the rock of the Acropolis and other important ancient sites over Attica. The New Acropolis Museum was designed by the famous architect Bernard Tschumi and the building stands out for the natural lighting, the glass floors and the modern style. Meeting Point:It is inside the Acropolis Museum, in front of the info desk next to the cashier, where the Acropolis tickets are issued. Your guide will be waiting there for you. Make sure that you get there by 13:20 p.m. as the tour starts at 13:30 p.m. Additional Info:- Confirmation will be received at time of booking - The Acropolis Museum is closed on: Mondays, January 1st, March 25th, Good Friday (closed until 12:00 pm), May 1st, Easter Sunday, December 25th and December 26th.
