General Information:
The Fisherman's (Psaras) Tavern is a popular place where the locals tend to visit for a dining experience. It is one of the oldest restaurants in the tourist area of Plaka and serves delectable dishes of the Greek cuisine. The tavern is known for its strong and delicious flavors like grilled octopus in olive oil, along with other dishes like the zucchini, kabobs, and lamb shank with sauce.
It is housed in two mansions, one across from the other with tables outside. The patio between has tables and provides good shade in summer. The tavern also works in winter and has a warm interior decoration, made from stone and wood. It is ideal for special occasions like wedding or birthdays and it frequently has live music.
