Rembetika have been present since the turn of the 20th century. Some of the best music taverns that preserve this old spirit are situated in the picturesque area of Plaka. Perivoli Touranou (the Garden of the Sky) is a tavern with warm atmosphere and traditional character.
Here, you can listen to original rembetika songs that are played by a live band and enjoy special mezedes. The band of Babis Tsertsos entertains the guests till the early hours, particularly on weekends.
