Akis Garden:
Maximum depth 15 metres. Collection of small reefs in a secluded bay, with many wrasses, combers, bream, gold line, mullet, blennies, scorpion fish and the occasional octopi or moray.. A nice long gentle swim around an underwater garden.
Blue Canyon:
Prior to entering the canyon, there is a wall dive of approx 150 metres in length, with the wall plunging to the seabed at 45 metres. The entrance to the canyon is at 15 metres and the canyon floor gradually rises to a depth of 8 metres. Small cave to be visited at 9 metres, home to large anemones and cardinal fish. The walls and canyon floor are covered with brightly covered blue and red hard corals. Inside the canyon and on the walls, morays, octopi and lobsters can be found. At the entrance to the canyon, large schools of parrot and damsel fish, gold line, sardines, wrasses and the occasional grouper. The view from inside the canyon towards the open sea is quite breathtaking.
Calypso House Reef:
Maximum depth 12 metres. The dive plan follows the coastline, with many small caves and rocky outcroppings. A small sunken rowing boat lying at 10 metres is home to a moray eel. Large schools of damsel fish, gold line and cardinal fish can be seen. During night dives, octopi, squid, cuttlefish, conger eels and whitebait abound in the bay.
Car Wreck Wall:
Maximum depth 30 metres. The wall itself drops to 45 metres. Many peacock worms, groupers, shoals of bream and large sponges can be seen during the dive, plus octopi and lobsters in holes on the wall. Many broken pieces of pottery can be noticed embedded in the rocks.
Car Wrecks:
Most probably the only underwater car graveyard in Europe. Can be visited either as a wall or drift dive, depending on prevailing currents. Collection of cars, trailers that have been driven over the edge of the cliff , most probably for reasons of theft, fraud or insurance. The vehicles lie at depths ranging from 8 – 30 metres and have become permanent homes to a wide variety of underwater Mediterranean sea life: scorpion fish, groupers, morays, octopi. Shoals of wrasses, mullet and bream can also be found. Experience the sensation of sitting in a car’s driving seat 20 metres underwater.
Dikigorika:
Maximum depth 15 metres. Two reefs situated 80 metres from the coast, in a well sheltered bay. Lots of gulleys and passageways through the reefs, which are home to large schools of combers, wrasses, damsel and cardinal fish, On the sandy seabed, flounders and weaver fish can be seen.
FishFarm Wall:
Maximum depth 30 metres. Similar in topography flora and fauna to CAR WRECK WALL.
French Garden:
Maximum depth 25 metres. A swim through a field of Neptune grass with a large colony of fan mussels, is followed by a wall dive on which lobsters, morays and octopi have been seen. Small holes in the face of the wall are habitats for a large number of Mediterranean reef fish.
Grouper Colony:
Maximum depth 30 metres. The dive follows the coast line with spectacular views of large groupers swimming amongst the rocks, which are also home to octopi and morays.
Meadowlands - Moray Reef:
Maximum depth 20 metres This dive follows the island coastline and commences with a small reef at 10 metres, followed by a large expanse of Posidonos grass and finally a wall, with many large sponges. Amongst the large boulders and rocks on the seabed, morays, octopi, groupers and corbs can be seen.
Mickey's Garden:
Maximum depth 15 metres. Collection of small reefs and gulleys inhabited by morays, scorpion and cardinal fish. Shoals of bream, gold line and mullet can be seen during the dive.
Patroklos East:
Sloping wall dive, leading to a sandy sea bed at 25 metres. Remnants of a wreck from WWII can be seen amongst the rocks. The wreck was an Italian troop carrier that was sunk with the loss of over 2000 lives. The actual wreck itself was raised by the Greek Government, but pieces of machinery and superstructure can still be found amongst the rocks.
Pinna Reef:
Maximum depth 30 metres. Forest of large fan mussels scattered along the seabed amongst the Neptune grass and in between various rock formations. Full selection of Mediterranean underwater flora and fauna to be seen and if very lucky the local seal.
Seal Wall:
Maximum depth 30 metres. The wall itself plunges down to 50 metres. At 28 metres, there is a small cave full of brightly coloured hard coral. This site is called SEAL WALL, as occasionally the local seal can be spotted.
SS Eleni:
A two hold bulk carrier that sank off a nearby island approx 20 years ago. The stern lies at a depth of 18 metres and the bow at 29 metres. Most of the superstructure has been destroyed by severe storms, so penetration possibilities are limited, The hull rests on a sandy seabed, where rays, weaver fish, flounders and stripped mullet can be found. Groupers, morays , corbs shelter inside the wreck. One of the few diveable wrecks in the Attiki region.
The Anchor:
Long wall dive following the slope of the island to a maximum depth of 30 metres, with many outcroppings and swim throughs, to arrive at an anchor approx 2 metres in height from a merchant vessel that sunk off the island approx 30 years ago and is all that remains of the wreck. . Large schools of sardines, bream, mullet, damsel fish and a fine collection of peacock worms, star fish, sea squirts and sponges can be found on the outcroppings.
The Cove:
A small cove on the west coast of the island is where the boat anchors. Divers then have a choice, on exiting the cove, to either turn left or right, for 2 spectacular wall dives. If conditions permit this is an excellent spot for drift dives, covering a distance of 500-750 metres underwater.
