Location: Monastiraki

James Joyce is a typical Irish pub located in downtown Athens. This unique place opened in October, 2007, and it was named after the Irish novelist and poet. The interior is decorated with dark colors of wood. The long bar creates a great environment, evoking images of the grand old pubs of Ireland. There is an interesting corner with selected books from the renowned author and other important writers.

The menu is basically an introduction to the Irish cuisine. However, there is a strong influence from Greek and Mediterranean cuisine with several dishes. The pub is mostly focused on the beer barrels counted as one of the best in the city. It also offers a wide variety of Irish whisky labels. James Joyce pub frequently organizes sports nights and live concerts.
