Athens Bios Bar in Kerameikos

Bios is much more than just a bar. It is located in the heart of Athens and its main goal is hosting regular exhibitions for the crowds, young artists, known bands and experienced DJs playing eclectic music and other kinds of music.

Among other events, Bios holds special readings and poetry nights for students and academics. Sometimes they have screenings of short films projected on their concrete walls. Charity bazaars are also frequently organized.

The crowd of Bios consists mostly of young artists, funky types and students of art school. The decoration matches the mentality of the place. The furniture here are placed in a totally unorthodox way. Like the place itself the music played here varies from house to jazz and rock to classical music.
