Athens: Legrena Athens

Legrena Athens:Legrena beach is found along the coastal road that goes from Athens to Cape Sounion. In fact, this is the last beach before Sounion and at the next turn people see the Temple of Poseidon. Located about 60 km southeast of Athens and 3km west of Sounion, this is a long beach stretching for many meters surrounded by a protected cove. The water is very clean and sometimes cold.

In fact, Legrena beach is separated by many small coves with rocky pieces and pebbles. This is why it has become a popular diving destination in Attica over the last years. This beach is totally unorganized but clean. There are many taverns and cafeterias in the area, where you can enjoy a coffee or a meal by the sea. Visitors arrive mostly during the summer weekends. The access is easy with public buses or car.
